Payload inspection
Teams checked electronics and integration details before flight activity.
The final launch event for the university student pathway, bringing together the climate science payloads students designed and built.
In 2026, participating university rocketry teams came together with the systems they had designed and built. The event created space for final preparation, inspection, knowledge-sharing and launch activity.
Bringing the teams together made the wider programme visible: individual projects became part of one collaborative effort to develop practical rocketry skills and climate-focused payload technology.
These photographs were supplied from the 2026 Launch 4 Change event and show the practical work behind a launch.

Teams checked electronics and integration details before flight activity.

Careful preparation turned months of design and manufacture into a flight-ready system.

The launch brought the teams’ engineering work together in its most visible moment.
